Question Engine and Cabin Air Filters (2014 Civic EX Sedan)

Hello,
Admittedly, I don't know jack about cars beyond a very basic beginner's level, but while I was lying around recovering from surgery earlier this year, I've realized that I've spent/still spending way to much money at the dealer to perform simple maintenance. Recently, my Civic Maintenance Minder display came on with A12 and I'm reading it as $A+$1+$$2= $$$ Cha Ching $$$ at my local Honda dealership. So I've decided to learn how to replace and install some things on my 2014 Honda Civic EX 4 door sedan (1.8L) in order to save some money. I recently was at Napa and bought a new engine and cabin air filter (Pro Select line made by Wix). Can anyone tell me if these filters are any good or are there better ones out there? I'm really confused as to what I need meaning not sure if I should buy the K&N reusable engine air filter along with their air filter cleaning kit or should I upgrade to the Napa Gold line of air filters or even buy the OEM off of Amazon for a couple dollars more than what I paid for the Pro Select filters at Napa?

As you can tell, my "Family or Father's Roadster" Civic stock sedan is far from the fastest or greatest Honda Civic to drive. It isn't tricked out or anything like that. Like me, a retired Navy sailor, my Civic got a few bumps and bruises on the outside w/ an internal engine mileage (high mileage?) approaching 75K. In other words, its been around the block a few times, but there's still several blocks to go in its future. So any practical and economical advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!

The filters you got are fine. Get the other ones if you feel like spending extra money

Yes the filters you bought are all you need and Wix makes good stuff. The K&N is a lifetime filter because you can wash it a reuse it but usually they are priced a lot higher then a standard filter. You will only get your money back if you do a lot miles or drive in dusty dirty environments were the filter will need to be changed/cleaned more then average.

75k Miles isn’t high mileage for a Civic it’s got lots of life left
