Hey All -

Long time lurker and now first time poster. Recently purchased a 2012 EX with 90K miles. Of course, I didn't hear this on the test drive but noticed it when I stopped with the windows down. When the A/C compressor cycles on and off there's a rattle somewhere in the engine bay area. I thought perhaps some kind of a heat shield but didn't see anything loose. Is this a common rattle or is there a specific place I should be checking perhaps?

Also, it seems fairly common for there to be a TCS/ABS/EPS issue on these Civic model years - was it ever sorted out? Luckily I don't have that problem...yet but if it pops up I'd like to know how to address. I've seen posts where people talk about changing a module out but the problem is still there, or changing a 70A fuse but that doesn't resolve either from what I've read. Perhaps there was a recall or TSB or something and that work was already performed.

Anything else perhaps I should be aware of and check on this model year?
