Hi,
I'm currently a BMW 535i owner looking to get as far away from it as possible (far too many mechanical failures). I'm considering buying a 2012 Civic ex coupe with 62,000 miles on it. Edmunds and a few other websites rated this vehicle really bad, but I just have a hard time believing them. I've owned 3 accords in the past and never had any issues. Is this car unreliable or does it just get a bad rep?

I just bought one, its a definite upgrade from my 7th gen ex coupe and so far I am loving it. I don't know what Edmunds review you are looking at but its got 4.5 stars out of 5 on their site and one of their 'best retained value cars' (http://www.edmunds.com/honda/civic/2...ays-pod-anchor).. It may take some getting used to for you as it is pretty spartan compared to a bimmer.

I worry about used coupes myself...... but as with anything look it over very, VERY! close.

Newbie here, Hi all!
Small world. Just bought one 'silver' 61150 kms. today. Totally cool looking car. Runs better with 'econ' off. Will spend the next few days getting to know it better, then off in 10 days to the 'ONE' show in Portland.
I think I would prefer 'deep dish' wheels.
