What's up, I have a 2011 Civic LX and I have to manually disengage my shift lock Everytime I put it in park. Happened after I pumped the brakes a few times with the car in park. Is there a fuse or solenoid that controls this and if so how would I go about fixing it. Thank you!

On top of this I found out my brake lights don't light up when the car is off but work when the car is running. Never did that before.

Check fuse number 10 (7.5 amp) in the under-dash fuse box.

Bad brake pedal position switch or switch pad missing?

Now this morning I found out that my brake lights weren't working unless I pumped the brakes a few times. Seems to have fixed itself for now though. Going to assume a bad pressure switch. Not very fun almost being rear ended at 6 in the morning.

Turns out it was the brake switch, replaced it and all is good!
