Motor swap putting a non Vtec into Vtec body

I have a 1999 non Vtec motor going into Vtec car what do I have to do to make it work and I did not care if the Vtec not hooked I know the heads are different like do I use th intake from non Vtec or do I use the Vtec motor

The intake a exhaust manifolds for an EX model car should match up directly to a non-Vtec motor. You can leave the Vtec disconnected but will most likely throw a CEL. May have to install a non-Vtec ECU from a base model? Search online I'm sure others have tried this same swap and posted info.

Could do mini-me swap if you want a Vtec head.
