I got a Lemons racer- an 89 civic Si- that blew a head gasket and sat for 8 years. No tarp, no love (maybe some squirrels in the engine bay did some lovin) for 8 years. I’m trying to revive the blown head but have stumbled on a
D16Y7 long block (just head/bottom end) for cheap. Is this a direct swap for the D16A6 that’s in it?
As it’s a Lemons car and I actually try to follow the rules (under $500 for car except safety related stuff) not having to exchange out a bunch of parts is key.
