blowing warm air everything else seems OK?

I noticed that the ac is taking longer to get somewhat cool air coming out. 2005 civic 289,000 miles, original ac compressor as well as other parts of the ac system are original.
Today I checked pressures. Air temp in central Alabama today was about 90deg humidity about 60% . Low side was 50psi, high was 240psi with ac on car running warm engine. Air coming out of the vents was about 65deg. When I turn ac off low side climbs and high go slower as expected. To me the numbers indicate the refrigerant levels are OK, clutch is engaging the compressor, I watched it do that many times. Fan's turning on. Only thing I can mentioned that may be unusual is that after shutting off the ac the high side does drop to about 200 or so then when I tun ac back on it seems to take some time to get back to 240psi.
Why am I getting 65 deg air? I dont know. Little help please?
Perhaps unrelated issue... a couple times in the past couple weeks I smelled burning metal and or burning rubber. Haven't smelled since, but it was very noticeable on those occasions. I have been unable to determine where that smell was originating from. There is no smell now.
Thank you

Rubber smell could be a belt slipping how do they look?

Has the refrigerant ever been topped off?
