Im just posting this thread because of I have been dealing with AC problems for months now. Long story short , my ac technician and mechanic changed the following parts and install the ac system: ac compressor , expansion valve, drier and condenser. We did the the flush and clean the whole system and followed the correct procedures to vacuum the system. After everything was set , he used the time gaugues to put the frion R134 into the system and he left it at the correct psi of 30 and 200. The ac was working and was throwing cold air initially , but it was not really cooling the car. An hour later after installation , the ac was throwing not so cold air , but at exceptions of really cold air from time to time. Then today in the morning , I turn on the ac and it was throwing not very cold air. The compressor was engaging and my technician checked and there was no leak. I wonder what could be the problem. We even cleaned up the evaporator and left it in good condition. What else can be done make the AC system work like it supposed??

Someone needs to diagnose it WHILE the problem is present.

You also need to be able to give enough info about the situation (details such as while driving, stopped in a drive-thru, just started the car after sitting in the sun all day, been driving at freeway speed for an hour, or what?) so that the mechanic can duplicate your complaint quickly and consistently.

Does the condensor fan run every time the compressor turns on?
