I bought a 2005 Civic EX with the 1.7 VTEC engine, it had been setting a couple years. Had 2 keys made and programmed. I drained the tank and put 5 gallons of fresh gas in the tank and added a half bottle of Sea Foam. Fully charged the battery. The car cranked over, fired and ran. Check engine light on. It ran roughly , but ran. It smoothed out a bit after idling for 15 minutes . I shut it down, cleaned the injectors, and ICV fully. Reinstalled everything and reset the ECM setting the idle speed. She fired right up and idled smoothly at just below 1k. i let her run at idle for about 20 minutes and a 5 mile test run went smooth including a pit stop at a local gas station to top the tank. Stared fine and drove 2 miles home. Parked.
The next day......No crank. Dash indicators are on ( check engine,just as before) key symbol to begin with then it goes out, fuel gauge sweeps to almost full. Park indicator lit. Horn and lights work strong. I checked with both keys with the same results. Can turn the key to on and shift to neutral , reverse, park, and drive.(guage panel indicators match shifter position).

No crank. Thoughts?

Tested the starter?
fuses, relays, etc.

starter terminals clean and well tightened? no wires chewed by rodents? (this includes squirrels, mind you, and no, no joke)
