Honda Civic 2002 (7th Gen) Cold Start Grinding Noise
Hi Everyone!
I've a Honda Civic 2002 (7th Gen).
Bought this car a year back.
Everything is fine with car, giving a good 15+ average on highways.
However, at Cold Start, a Grinding Noise is routine. The noise starts after 3 to 4 seconds of starting the engine. Initially it's loud and during winters, it stays till 7 to 10 minutes and then fades away.
I've done following to get rid of it:
1. Water Body & Timing Belt replaced.
2. Power Steering Pump replaced.
3. Generator checked.
4. Inlet cleaned, all seals replaced.
Still no joy!!!
Noise originates on left side of the engine, opposite to driving side. Any idea, what it could be and how to resolve it?
I can upload a video on YouTube and place a link here...
