Fuse 15 but no power to (O2 Sensors + Evap Relays). How to fix?
Fuse 15 but no power to (O2 Sensors + Evap Relays). How to fix?
This started as an O2 sensor Code, but whether it was initially really just an O2 Sensor problem or not, it is now a nearly complete disconnect from the fuse panel back to a bunch of functions that include the O2 sensors. My schematic says that a black and white wire runs from Fuse 15 to feed 5 different components; (both O2 sensors and all 3 Evap valves). Those 5 components each get a switched ground connection from the Powertrain Control Module.
The problem is not the ignition switch that supplies power to Fuse # 15, nor is it Fuse 15. I am getting 14.24 Volts to both sides of Fuse 15, and all those loads, combined, are only pulling 30mA. So the problem has to be the fuse panel connection to that B/W wire or that wire's connection to the group of 5 loads... or it could be that the wire itself is broken. The only one of those that I could foresee repairing would be the connection at the fuse panel. That is if I can somehow work on the fuse panel. I can barely see it. Can you remove the fuse panel? Are there big connectors that attach it to the electrical system, or are there individually connections?
