Did I get hosed? D15B

Hey everyone,
I purchased my '99 EX a few months ago, not knowing much about Honda's when buying it I later found out that my block is a D15B, looking at information it looks like my engine should've been a D16Y8, it does have the VTEC head but this must mean I have a 1.5l block? I'm looking at buying a D16Y8 block to build up for boost and I'll transfer the head from this current engine when the time comes. What do you guys think, did I get screwed on the engine?

D15B has a stronger bottom end stock so I wouldn't be replacing it. A lot of the really high power D series are using that block.

You have an ideal setup for boost, actually. It will obviously need stronger internals depending on how high you go, but this is a great start.
