Civic Lx engine replacement
Recently my my civic engine completely died now I need to replace. However I am unsure if I go to the dealership and have them get it or find an engine and replace it myself?

Whats the most complicated thing you've done mechanically? Do you have any skilled friends? Do you have an engine hoist or access to one? Do you have any power tools or only hand tools?

no new engines available anymore from Honda, you will need to find an used one.
Many online vendors, most of them are JDM engines (from Japan)
or you can use car-part.com to find what is available in scrapyards near you
