Rear main seal too deep or leave it?

It definitely looks deeper than it should be but who's to say it won't still seal? It's a relatively cheap part that you can only get to with the engine out. Your call if you want to dig it out and replace just to be safe, or risk it and have a small oil leak sometime in the future.

Thanks for your input. I decided to replace. I'm going with a genuine Honda rear main seal so it's a bit more than $7 but worth it if there's a chance I have to drop the transmission to get to it again.
