02 sensor p0132 code
02 sensor p0132 code
I keep getting this code p0132 bank 1 sensor 1 high voltage..I have a d16y7 with non-vtec i have replace the o2 sensors 3 times already with different brands, bosch, ntk, and denso but still getting cel p0132. ive checked the wires from the 02 sensor and the engine side and it's all working as it should..but that cel making the car run sluggish..please help what else can i do?
update...I recently had the motor change from a d16y7 to d16y8 vtec but the vtec is not connected.also went to the junkyard and got 2 ecu p2e..but that code is still there p0132. i thought by changing the motor that code won't show up anymore..
i checked the wires from the engine side with a multimeter and it seems to be in the right specs..and btw i bought an o2 sensor from the dealership and yes it was expensive. but that p0132 bank1 sensor1 is still there. i did a scenerio by unplugging the o2 sensor then clearing the code..but it did'nt work. the p0132 high voltage still showed up..
-change the ecu twice code is still there.
can anyone help me out i can't pass the emission with a cel..thanks

Re: 02 sensor p0132 code
B1 s1 is the air/fuel ratio sensor
-the denso one is your best bet. Make sure not to use a b1 s2 sensor which is cheaper because it's just on o2 sensor.
-make sure there isnt gas pooling in the cylinder, which can be caused from the engine running rich while there is a b1s1 error. Maybe pull plugs and let the engine sit open over night.
-disconnect the battery overnight to clear the ecu, so it will revert to a base fuel map.
