Stuttering while accelerating
Stuttering while accelerating
When I accelerate the car tends to stutter, and the RPM's go up and down. I have to slowly speed up, to speed up. It may only do it when V-Tech kicks in, but I haven't done a ton of experimenting. I don't think it does it on certain RPM's, but I've gone slowly but at like 6k RPM, but it's done it if I put the pedal down too much/fast and had it stutter at 4k RPM.
The engine was rebuilt, but the trans has not. Could it possibly be the trans, or could it even be a sensor somewhere?
Fully stock engine, oils are kept up. Trans has a tiny bit more fluid than what's recommended on the dipstick indicator.

Re: Stuttering while accelerating
Ok, so my father worked on it before I bought it. He said that the fuel pump was replaced, and the injectors looked fine. Is there a way to easily look at the pump or a way to see if the injectors really are ok?
Re: Stuttering while accelerating
So the transmission has a little more than what the level indicator shows to fill it to, should I drain it a little? If so where would the drain plug be located, and do I torque it back to a certain torque spec?
