Bolt broke off in block for water pump
Bolt broke off in block for water pump
The shortest of the 4 broke off in the block. I'm pretty sure its tight and I don't see how you could remove it without pulling the motor out. And it is very deep in there. Not even sure how it broke because it wasn't even tight yet just snapped. Has anyone just only used 3 bolts for the pump? And what exactly is the torque spec then?
Re: Bolt broke off in block for water pump
okay well good news. I took the pump back off and because like stated earlier I wasn't even tightening it there was literally no part of the bolt showing but i just used a magnet and it unscrewed like that. Does anybody know the bolt size for it?

You will need to know bolt mm size, length and pitch. Search HondaPartsNow: https://www.hondapartsnow.com/

Hey so I got a metric bolt but putting headgasket on it doesn't seem like its for this y8 head? https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuin...1-p2j-004.html
I have that one but it has extra spacing around it that appears to go out of the block?
