I have a 2000 ex automatic and got rid of the metal pipe and put in a plastic connector instead. the pipe was hitting my aftermarket intake manifold with one port, i need to know if coolant runs through the one and if so is it going to get hot enough to melt the plastic splitter? and the automatic has a different setup from my understanding? so the tube that comes from the intake goes into the sensor off the block right which is what the metal tube connects the two together then the other sensor would be in the thermostat and comes from the top of the manifold like the picture then that sensor on the automatic has another pipe that comes off it and connects to the intake tube with its own tube/vacuum line correct? my question is can i use a 3 way split here to connect the block breather and the one that comes off that sensor on the thermostat into the intake tube??
or in other words the pic that says here has another port/tube and connects directly into the intake tube by itself correct?
and with the aftermarket intake being bigger i couldnt fit the metal piece in there so i used a 3 way T that connects the vacuum from the thermostat like pic to the intake tube so the 3 way connects the valve cover vent to that.
