DRL Wiring

I have aftermarket headlights with DRL's and I was wondering what would be a simple way of wiring it. I heard I could connect it to a certain resistor, that way it automatically turns on when I start the car. I don't really care about hooking up sensors or modules to affect how bright or dim they are.

Who cares about it are the other oncoming drivers...
If people lifts their fingers to you, you know what it was...

DRL uses high beams at half power:
  • intention is to be visible at day, so high beams
  • half power, so it will not blind oncoming traffic

Wrong. Like I said they're aftermarket, and I know about lights blinding drivers if not properly setup/aimed. The light is a projector, with the DRL being a much dimmer light behind a matt white shield, here's a link

you need to clarify that first...
It is a LED strip that need to be wired in separate from the high beams. Completely different than usual DRL wiring, so if you don't explain it the replies will be completely off.

Search for halo wiring. should not be any different than halo wiring.
