I have a 96 Honda Civic (bought from a friend of a friend) and there a couple of electrical issues. This is one of them, when the mirror adjuster is switched to the left mirror (driver mirror) and I press left or right, the door lock activates. There is a couple of
cut wires. Can Anyone help?

Need to go through the mirror harness and the lock harness and look for broken, spliced, cut, shorted wires

I found there are a couple of broken wires in the door wire harness, so I got a new one. I got home and check out my new wire harness and noticed it only has 16 wires, the one currently on my car has 17. Not sure what’s going on here
