So I got my first question to ask

I've tested pretty much everything... Battery is charged and tested with a load on it. Passed. Starter motor and solenoid have been removed and tested with jumper wire while connected to 12 volts. Pin kicks out and spins. Placed back into car 13 volts getting to it but when I turn key nothing happens. Any ideas? Even tested alternator and its charging fine. I jumped starter motor while it was in my car and of course it starts right up

Re: So I got my first question to ask

OK so its not my ignition switch. I used a multimeter volt meter whatever and have 12v coming from it when I turn the key but I did find the problem. Ripped up the under dash and steering column someone used speaker wire to wire up what looks to be an alarm system that never worked. Found out this relay is not clicking over for ignition. I'm somewhat learning engines and what not but electrical is not my forte yet. Can anyone tell me wth is going on here. This relay is fried but what is it connected to?

Re: So I got my first question to ask

Remove starter but keep it plugged in, remove f/I fuse, try and crank, see if the starter spins?
