Exclamation Car doesn't start and no green light no crank

Hello,
I've recently bought my first car and it was like a dream. It's a civic hatch 1997. I bought it without a radio and i wanted to put one in. So i bought a pioneer DEH-09bt. I plugged everything in and de radio worked, only the memory didn't work. So i did some digging in the cables from the radio and found that there was a homemade adapter for the memory cable from the radio, and there was a loose green-yellow cable that fitted the homemade adapter perfectly, so i plugged it in and put the memory cable from the radio in it, and everything worked. But the next morning, the car wouldn't start and the green light that normally comes up doesn't light up, all the other light turned on and the ac and radio worked and all, but i have no crank and when i turn the key to start te ac turns of. So we checked all the fuses and there was no blown fuse. I also wanted to add what the homemade adapter looked like. It was connected with 2 cables, a black cabel and a cable with the word "memory" on it. The memory cable was connected with the ACC red cable and i removed it and connected it to the homemade adapter. I'm not a mechanic so i brought it to my local shop and they aren't really familiar with the car or the problem. They said they would fix it but it's taking some time now. I thought maybe i can ask on here. I found some people saying that it is the PGM FI relay, or the Main relay. I asked chatgpt(not the best source but it helps on views) and he said it can't be one of those. He gave a valid reason and said i would probably be a grounding issue, that when i worked on the radio i might have pulled something loose. How big is that chance and will my local shop find that issue? I appreciate all the help i can get, as i want to drive is so bad.

Best regards,
Anton

Connecting that homemade adapter either blew a fuse or is grounding something and is preventing the car from starting

Thanks for your reply! We have checked every fuse and we did not find any blown fuses. We also disconnected everything to the state like it was when it still worked. but that hasn't changed anything either. Or could it still be something to with the grounding coming into that adapter? Is it, because i connected it once that it now stopped working, despite disconnecting it?

Unfortunately it's going to be hard to figure out the issue.
