how to test 2000 civic crankshaft sensor

In process of putting engine back together after blown head gasket and no spark issue.

Trying to test my crank sensor. Multimeter setting on 2K NO. Reading with leads on green and white terminals.
Put on 20K ~~~ 2.16 reading
NO reading when leads on black and touching either one of the other terminals.

The sensor is on my bench for testing. The 2.16 seems high but I don't have access to specs for normal limits.

Any help appreciated
