Fuel Pump wont prime and no start
Fuel Pump wont prime and no start
I have a 97 honda civic and ive been having fuel pressure issues. Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and the fuel pump relay. Still having the same problem. Im getting 12v to the two respective pins on the relay and the fuel pump primes when i jump pin 7 and 1 on the relay plug. I hear the relay click when i turn on the ignition but i hear nothing from the fuel pump. I gain fuel pressure for a little bit after i jump those pins but it still wont start. Is it a problem with the wires between the relay and fuel pump? Im completely stumped and really need help
Re: Fuel Pump wont prime and no start
If the relay is good, and the pump is good then theres a break in the circuit; either fuse or wire.
find the fuel pump circuit diagram online, then look to see if there is a fuse associated with it.
if not run new wires to the pump if needed.
