I have an 02 Civic Ex coupe. I can't get the old tint off the back windshield behind the brake light! I took the side panel between the back windshield & the back window, then it looked like I have to take off the whole side panel also? Is there an easier way to get to the tint? Would I be better off taking it somewhere & paying for it?

Basically all the plastic trim back there has to come off. It's a huge pain, and fiddly, and time consuming. But labour is expensive so it's probably better to do it yourself since your diy-ing the rest of the tint. Also a good time to change your rear speakers since that rear panel has to come off to remove the speakers.
