Latch and actuator
Greeting Civic enthusiasts,
I recently purchased my son a 2005 civic sedan DX. The door locks are manual (not keyless). The driver side door latch and lock cylinder need to be replaced. I can only find door latches that include the actuator. Are the latches with the actuator the same as the manual latches if I remove the actuator? I know that bare bones civics for the most part are ready to except OEM additions that were not included from the factory, I just rather be certain.
thank you for your time✌🏻

Re: Latch and actuator
Yes both versions use the same latch (honda calls it a 'lock')
Drivers door lock , w/o actuator
72150-S5A-A01
The cylinder might only need fresh tumblers, dealerships should have a tumbler kit for this purpose
