Headlight Assembly - Best Off The Shelf Option

I wasted my time, buffing the glazed / clouded over headlights. The headlights look great for about a week, even though I applied a protective clear coat or something (what ever came in the kit). Next, I attempted to adjust the beam pattern, because the left / drivers headlight is shining up in the trees, shinning owls. After messing with it for about 15 minutes at night time, I can get the beam to come down out of the trees.

So, my question is;

What's the best / best price for the money, off the shelf headlight assembly out there? I'd like to keep the vehicle looking stock, so nothing too crazy. I don't mind doing a wiring harness upgrade if needed. I've seen some impressive DIY projects, but I don't want to go down that road.

Thanks In Advance

Those kits are kinda crap, because they're ment to be safe.

easy, fast, good looking method

-wet sand 2000 grit
-clear coat, 2k professional self hardening

They're going to to hazy at first, make sure to use plenty of water to clean off the residue, let dry, clear coat.

warning: 2k clear is nasty, vary bad to breath in, make sure to use a vapor rated respirator. (You can also clear them with regular spray paint, but that generally only lasts a year)

Used these for my last retrofit on my 2002. Only difference was the rubber boot was a hair small and required a bit of stretching to fit. Otherwise did just fine. Couldn't really complain for an $80 set of lights. Fitment was spot on
If you click that link, the before pictures was me also getting fed up with sanding and re-clearcoating headlights. I used a rattle can UV-protective spray. Whatever I had in the garage at the time

Can't speak for OEM performance, since they were almost immediately taken apart to retrofit HIDs in them, and resealed with 3M windoweld. @sdaidoji nabbed 'em from me when I had 'em up for sale. You can ask him how they're holding up
