Interchangeable part's

So I have an 05 Coupe Value Package and since I got my car I've been wanting to find a spare car. Well I thought I had found one I could have swore the title read 2005 but I was sadly mistaken. So our traded my '03 Camry that needed a motor for what ended up being a 2001 Honda Civic EX Coupe. Now I know I can still get my money out of the car by parting it out or whatnot. But here's my question. Other than the glass and the front struts if you drill extra hole or something what parts are interchangeable?? I'm taking a glass out cuz I know the glass will work in my car but what else is there? And with the value package I don't have a tachometer. I have the most basic gauge cluster there is. I want to say I've heard of people putting the clusters from a EX model into a value package. Is that possible? Or something that people do?? And if there's anyone near the Pensacola Florida area, you're more than welcome. Come take a look and buy parts of it if you want. I mean around this area there aren't a single one of these cars in the junkyard. Sorry guys, I know I don't post here very often and I probably posted in the wrong spot, but I'd appreciate any help you can because I'd like to get rid of the car being I can't use much of it lol. Thanks for your help

Re: Interchangeable part's

Pretty much the entire car is interchangeable. Mechanically, there are a couple of differences concerning the O2 sensors and ECU, and the headlights/taillights are similar only to its facelift/pre-facelift car, but it’s all compatible other than that, I believe.

Re: Interchangeable part's

easier to list what are not
  • headlight and what is involved (fenders/bumpers)
  • knuckles and shocks at front uses 14mm crash bolts, 16mm on 03+
  • as mentioned above, the o2 sensors are narrow band and the ECU will be looking for it (actually, this just occurred to me)

taillights are interchangeable, but most people prefer the 04-05 round back-up light
