Cap Missing? Under air intake box.

Cap Missing? Under air intake box.

In about the center of the photo there is a small pipe pointing upward. I had my hand in there drying up a coolant leak and thought I felt something come off that pipe. What is that pipe? Should it have some type of cap?

Vent for the trans, there's supposed to be a little cap on it
