Acceleration problem
Acceleration problem
I’m having trouble with my 2001 Honda Civic lx when I press the gas peddle the car doesn’t move like it should it takes time to accelerate once it hits about second gear it moves like it would normally so I don’t know what the problem I thought it was the transmission so I got that rebuilt but the problem is still the same it won’t move until it hits second gear I heard that it might be the fuel system that’s the problem I don’t know for sure hope someone will help me

Re: Acceleration problem
The shop that rebuilt your transmission should have been able to determine if it was engine, axle or transmission related. Since they didn't do that it's likely they didn't rebuild **** and just took your money. Take it back to them, ask them for their parts invoice they used on your car and ask them why they didn't fix the problem they supposedly assessed.
