At random times when I'm driving or turning on my car the battery light will flicker for a few seconds then go away. I bought a new battery last year. And for the first time when I was driving. All the lights on my cluster started going off for about 5 seconds. The brake light , airbag , battery light as I was driving 60 mph. I'm either thinking the alternator has to be replaced or the voltage regulator.

Sounds like the alternator (regulator) is failing. Check all your connections first to make sure everything is tight. Get it tested.

Sounds like the same symptoms I had when I needed a new alternator. There is also the issue in these vehicles with the mounting bolts for the alternator coming loose and causing a poor ground.
