Battery light on
Battery light on
So I went to Midas yesterday to get my check engine light checked and after they gave me the car, I started driving it for a little bit and realized my battery light is on???
I called them back and the guy said he doesn't know why that happened. He told me to drive it for a little bit and see what happens. It is still on and I have to drive to work tomorrow.
Any ideas why this would happen? Do I need a new battery or could this be something that turns on b/c they messed w/ something?

Re: Battery light on
Battery light does not mean battery.
The alternator is the primary control for that light, but there are other systems involved too.

Re: Battery light on
check to make sure your battery connections are tight, the guy at midas may have disconnected it and not tightened them properly
