So I bought this 2002 Civic Lx from a dealership in Sacramento, and after a week of owning it the transmission starts messing up, front passenger side of suspension sounds like its going to shoot through the hood. The car has almost 141,000 on it, I have only been driving it for a week. I tried talking to dealership owner and he pretty much just laughed at me on the phone and said there is nothing he can do. But I heard about the Lemon Law. Has anyone used this successfully or known anyone who has. Am thinking about trying it.

i believe it applies only to cars with a warranty. like if you buy a new car and they try and fail 3 times to fix the same problem, then you can return it. old cars youre on your own, anything can happen. the trans is a common problem on these cars and you should be lucky it lasted over 100k.

suspension problem is probably compliance bushings, easy, fairly cheap fix
