Car jerks just before stopping
Hey,
I have a 2004 Civic EX. When I stop sometimes, the car jerks a little bit right before I come to a stop. The car only has 18,000 miles on it. I know it has anti lock brakes. I'm thinking it has something to do with the brakes. Does anyone have any ideas of what the problem is? thanks

i wanna kill the auto tranny sometimes. i am going uphill and even tho the gas is barely pressed the stupid thing keeps downshifting, then upshifting, then downshifting. and when i get on the freeway the stupid thing shifts into 3rd in a few secs and i'm stuck going 25 and have to press the gas to make it downshift. its a tricky game learning the shift points and learning when and when not to press the gas.
