Hi,

I recently upgraded my phone to the Google Pixel 5, and I paired it successfully, but the steering wheel controls to skip songs don't work. Also, the displays do not show what is playing, like they did with my Pixel 2.

My car has the main touch screen in the center, and the mini informational screen in the top right. The small screen shows 'Pixel 5' as connected, but the main touchscreen says 'No Device Connected'

I took it to a Honda dealership, and they didn't seem to know why, and said it would be on the phone and not the car. They also stated there are no updates to the Civic software unfortunately. Otherwise I would have to make an appointment for them to do a deep dive, which is likely going to cost money for the same outcome.

Anyone have any ideas how to get those steering wheel controls to work again? The phone used to show what was playing on Spotify on both mini and the touchscreen, but it no longer does that.
