Fuel Flap Lock

Hello,

Please move if in wrong forum. I have a 2015 Civic Coupe, the flap lock cable in the trunk slipped off, I am trying to access the inside of the cabling from the fuel flap. How does the plastic assembly pull out once the screw is out?

Looks like the plastic has a rubber ring that pulls over the fuel spout

Thanks in advance
BRingler

Re: Fuel Flap Lock

Should be able to get it from behind the trunk lining inside the trunk

Re: Fuel Flap Lock

Actually, found out the plastic inserts had cracked, cable is fine! Ordered, anyone know if these pull out? Or do I have to access from under wheel well?

Thanks
B

Re: Fuel Flap Lock

if you intend to do all the work for your car, recommend getting a repair manual
