Trunk alignment issue

Hi, recently with all of the rain in Los Angeles I have noticed my trunk is leaking due to this large gap on the side of the trunk. I have already tried adjusting the position of the latch as per a youtube video I saw on the issue without much luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Would taking the trunk off and putting it back on help at all?

I also noticed it is missing the weather proofing strip (74865-SNX-A01) from the previous owner. Is there a cheaper alternative to replacing it with an OEM one? I know you can buy weather proofing strips for cheap on amazon but does it have to be a certain size / thickness or anything special? Does anyone have a recommendation?

Re: Trunk alignment issue

Could try loosening the hinges and shifting it. The trunk seal should just be one piece. i would just get a new seal
