Locking issue?

Locking issue?
I have a 2006 Honda Civic LX. Yesterday when trying to get out of the vehicle, the locks would automatically lock back when I unlocked them. Myself and passenger were finally able to exit the vehicle by opening the door as soon as we unlocked it. But now, my key will not unlock the door and my fob hasn’t worked in a while. Any suggestions are welcome.
This may or may not be relevant but there is a red light flashing in the dash now that I haven’t noticed before. Possibly an electrical issue with the anti-theft system.
Again, any suggestions welcome.
