Trunk locks but does not sit flush

Trunk locks but does not sit flush

The trunk of my car closes fine and opens with no issues but when I close it it looks like there is I got on the left side when I push down on it it has some travel but doesn't lock any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

The lock/hitch, on the inside of the trunk has probably traveled.

You should ne able to remove the plastic cover and adjust it by loosening the bolts.
