Right mirror smashed

I'm new to the forum, for the record, so I'm sorry if this is a new one: I just got my right side mirror smashed off completely--oddly cleanly--and I'm wondering about the best way to get it replaced. It's a brand new 2011 Civic coupe, if that helps. Should I go to the dealership, mechanic, or DIY? It's my first car, I really don't know that much about this whole line of work. Thanks.

Re: Right mirror smashed

Replacing mirrors is a fairly simple job, so you could probably DIY it if you have some basic skills. The only difficulty would be if something else is damaged..
