try to adjust the latch on the bottom of the trunk. you need to pull off that plastic cover, then you can loosen the bolts on the U shaped metal and move it around lower so the trunk will grab it. you can also adjust the rubber stoppers on the trunk lid by turning em. other than that, you may have a bad latch lid that needs to be replaced.
