Alright yall, I've read a few forums on things related to the problem I'm having but none have quite touched on whats actually happening with my car. My situation is a classic AC works while driving but is warm whale stopped. I drive a 2009 manual Civic. If i'm on the highway and I pop it into neutral and coast the air goes warm.
I did discover that the condenser fan was not working. I replaced with an OEM fan that now works. The problem is still there. As if nothing changed.
I bought a DIY AC recharge kit an hooked up the gage. It told me that there was too much pressure in on the low side. I let some out til it was in the normal range. the problem still goes on.
To recap:
Condenser fan works.
Refrigerant in fine (low pressure)
Cold air whole driving (in gear), warm air while coasting (neutral) or stopped (neutral).
Condenser is spinning
WTF is the problem?
