Have started noticing that my AC takes time to get cold, especially if the car has been sitting in the sun. In stop-go traffic, the AC feels like it doesn't get as cold as it should, but at freeway speeds (50+) it's icy cold. I was told by a friend to check the electric fans by the condenser, but both work fine (I turn on the AC, and both fans run). Could I be low on refrigerant? Thanks! guys!

Yes its possible. Low regrigerant will also cool less when there is less airflow across the condensor. Have someone throw some gauges on it and see what the pressures are.
