Wiring issue activating immobiliser Civic 1.5 D 2013
Hi,
I've had a recurring but occasional problem for the last year where my immobiliser gets activated under certain conditions and therefore won't let me start the car. It started in very cold weather - around freezing - then once temperature got up past that car would start again. Happened a few times last winter. Mechanics couldn't find problem.
Just before Xmas we had really bad rain and it happened again and haven't been able to start car since. Electrical guy says no modules are talking to each other but he's at a loss how/where to find the damaged or broken wire that's causing the issue.
Anyone know of any weak / vunerable points on the wiring of this car that he should look first? A place where water tends to sit? 🙏🙏
Thanks,
Laura
