Hi guys,



I`m just heaving a small but very annoying issue with my Honda Civic 2008.



My wife was driving the car and out of nowhere she had this random coming up beeping noise:






Does anyone ever had this and know how to fix it?

yep tried google already but I couldn't really find anything there or nothing similar to my case, but thanks for the suggestion

that would be awesome. On the video, if you pause it on the orange light you can see a car logo/symbol appearing in the middle dash. Would that relate to door sensor? or something? She`s, of course, wearing a seatbelt.

Nice display. We only get a very basic odometer and service reminder display in North American cars.

The beep is the warning chime that goes along with whatever the display shows, but it's so brief I sure can't read it.

I did see the outline of the car body like it might be a door ajar or boot ajar warning, but really I can't tell for certain what it is at this point.

Maybe your owners manual will show a list of all the possible warning displays and you can pick what looks closest?

keep in mind, there are stories...

we had a car we bought used, that would do a clunk, or a gonk, every acceleration or braking.

took years until we found under the back seat a coke glass bottle that would roll around...

My previous civic, i would hear a chime every once in a while.

it was a small dash clock lost under the passenger seat.

on second thought, you video shows the screen flicking, so it's something from the car.

which country are you? Sounds like western europe?

Thanks for all your suggestions sdaidoji

I`m Polish but living in the UK for a long time.

So I`ve spent some time yesterday and I did the following:

plugged in the Delphi Car Diagnostic tool to clear all the errors
I`ve walked around the car to check all the doors and boot
I`ve changed a few settings on the display etc and so far nothing is beeping!

No idea if I`ve solved the problem but so far there`s no beeping so fingers crossed.

I also checked under the seats if there are no unwanted gifts form a previous owner.
