Whoop noise: 2002 civic makes wierd noise while driving
Occasionally, my 2002 civic will make a "whoop" noise while driving. The sound is high-pitch, and happens infrequently. Some days it occurs more often than other days. Other days, not at all.
It occurs randomly, but always while driving.
Does anybody know what this could mean?

Simple explanation. This is a used car right? The previous owner hid an old tape player with a timer to turn off/on and confuse the hell out of the next owner:

Does it almost sound like someone whistling? Is your A/C on when this happens? My A/C has been making this noise for 2 years with no ill effects. To lazy to track it down. lol
