Take it back, although there is not much they can do. My starts seem to improve when I add fuel-injector cleaner to the gas.

Here is a trick. Turn the car to the ON position and wait a few seconds before starting it. This gives the fuel pump time to charge.

Sometimes taking the key out then re-inserting it can help also.. I think it has something to do with the Immoblizer system.

There isn't much they can do unless they can replicate the problem while they have it. Mine does it on occasion, usually when theres less than 1/3 tank of gas and its humid. I just ignore it cuz it doesn't happen too much, but unless the dealer can get the car to foul up, they can't fix what they can't find.

Hey my 2002 does this no start problem ... so we raised some hell at the dealership and they actually looked into it ... but all they came up with is the demmobilizer system malfunctioning ... it is actually caused by the key not being properly read by the ignition ... if you look at your dash lights when you first put the key in the ignition, before you crank it, watch for a green key light. wait for this light to go out before you start the car. During this time the system is attempting to recognize the key, and the car will not start until this occurs. If it doesn't happen after about 2 seconds, take the key out, flip it over, and reinsert it. They say this problem is usually caused by interference from either other keys on the same ring as your civic key, or from the door lock button, and they are supposedly working on the problem to recall it as soon as they can.

If anyone hears anything more about this problem it would be great to know!
