broken gauge needle fix

i posted a topic on here a few weeks back on what to do about a gauge needle that no longer had stop after i put on my indiglo gauges. a few other people had the same problem and i wanted to give the solution i came up with. i turned the needle clockwise until i came to a stop which was all the way to the right side on the fuel gauge. i then decided to push it clockwise until i got to the usual resting place for the needle with the engine off. i then tested it with the gauges back in the car and it held. i've had it back in the car now for about a month and it hasn't dropped and seems to keep accurate fuel readings. i just wanted to put this out there in case someone else ran into the same issue.
