my car is almost 30,000 miles old and i need to get everything fixed before the warrenty runs out.
so far i have this
my front passenger window makes a noise when its rolling up.
my rear deck rattles and creaks
the fabric on the doors are coming off.

can u guys add some problems u got fixed? so i can check if its broken or not?

check the driver and passenger s4eat for rocking, check your wiper cowl for warping(its the blck plastic peice that is under your wipers, between the engine and front windsheild), thats awhat ive had done so far

passenger and driver seats ok.
that black thing is ok.

what should i say about the tranny? just say can u check it for me?

There are only two things on my 01 civ that gave me trouble. Drivers door didn't shut all the way and made a squeaking sound on rough roads. The other is the passeneger side seat belt slider adjuster rattled like hell. Thats bout it.

My windows have trouble rolling up- i think due to the tint


My locks squeak when the alarm locks the doors after the ignition is on- i think due to the alarm installers


The whole car rattles when i turn the music up- i think due to plastic panels

check the tranny. a lot of people have had issues w/ the synchros and that theyre bad. i tried to get them to check mine out, cause i kept grinding 3rd gear. they road tested it for 2 days and told me they couldnt find anything, so they wouldnt take the tranny apart to look.

check the shocks/struts and that theyre not busted or leaking. check the brakes and pads.

see that the windshield and rear window are all good and that the rubber around it (all the way around it) is in good condition and not bubbling/warping/peeling off.

check the a/c filter and make sure you have enough coolant in the system.

ask them to check all the bushings...like on the suspension and shifter.

also my rear windows sometimes rattle when theyre down...like not rough roads or anything...they just rattly. no big deal, but if youre fixing, might as well.

there might be a recall on the seatbelt and how it doesnt always go back up when you unbuckle it and get out of the car. and you end up closing the door on it. check that too.

thats all i can think of right now.

That's pretty much the same problem I have and BTW I have 77k on my 2001 LX Sedan. So far I had to replace my tires got better ones now.
