hit a curb and my camber is messed! HELP!
Ok, here's the situation.. Yesterday, we got a ton of snow here in Wisconsin.. anyways, I was gonna go make a left turn.. I started go turn and made it about quarter of the way through and then I just started to slide forward.. I couldn't stop in time and my passenger side wheel hit the curb at probably about 10 mph.. I didn't blow the tire, however I bent my rim and now instead of my tire sitting
like "|", it sits like this "/".. remember this is the passenger side.. anyways, I can't tell if it's just an illusion because I have the spare tire on or if the camber is really off that much now.. I have a couple questions now.. if the camber is screwed up that bad, what are some possibile things that might need replacing? Tie rods, CV-Joint, etc? Otherwise.. will just a wheel alignment correct the problem? I'm getting a new wheel on Thursday and I wanna make an appointment to get whatever this is fixed, but I can only get it fixed right away if I know what the problem is... otherwise they'll take a day to look at it, charge me up the @$$, then screw me again the next day by putting all new stuff on.. I guess I just want a fair warning as of what I might need and how much I might be spending..
Any help is appreciated!!
EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the car is parked and everything.. I wouldn't run around with a donut on the front end and then screw up the transmission.. When I do take it to the shop, I'll move the spare to the back end..

Personally, in my own experence you have prolly bent the control arm (upper / lower or both) and maybe as well the tie rod. If you have the tools, you can get new ones at the dealership for maybe under 100 bucks. Take a look at it and see what is bent, or bring it in to get it checked out.

I'd say its a good bet you're going to need a new strut and wheel for starters. Its also possible that the Tie Rod is bent and possible the Lower Control Arm and Stabilizer Bar. Take it to a good shop or even the Dealer and ask them for a estimate so you know what you might need. Whats a real bummer is that you really won't know the extent of the damage until you have it aligned, once on the machine it will show if everything can be brought back into spec.
